Hospitality is a word one hears often in church especially in many United Methodist congregations which have a Dedicated Team or a Hospitality Committee to ensure that guests are welcomes warmly on Sundays.

The spirit of hospitality does not come from concern for a congregation’s image, nor does it guarantee the congregation will be popular or successful in the conventional sense. Hospitality grows from earnest witnesses and invitation to those outside the church’s walls. It means demonstrating Christ-like love to the community around the church.

Our Hospitality Ministry exists to serve the church family by providing the appropriate food and atmosphere during times of weekly fellowship gatherings, church-wide events, and special needs of the congregation. As well as engaging the church family through church-wide events. 

Church members with the desire to serve others will find true fulfillment in this ministry.
